Samford University's Howard College of Arts and Sciences invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian
University environment to apply for the position of part-time instructor in the Core Texts program. Core Texts
comprises a two-course sequence that invites students to read and analyze classic texts, explore the history of ideas,
and engage with great philosophical questions. This is a part-time, non- tenure-track appointment and will begin
in August 2024. Qualified candidates should hold a Master's in Classics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, or a
closely related field at the time of appointment (PhD preferred). Relevant experience teaching at the college level
