Leave and Wellness Benefits AdministratorThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization where you can make an impact.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Focus on Leave administration
  • Administer FMLA/ Personal Leave of Absences and Paid Parental Leaves and manage team member leaves in UNUM
  • Handle all tier II issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Send Leave of Absences premium letters, review monthly eligibility files, and audits for errors
  • Review weekly Unum Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave reports for program compliance
  • Review weekly no Pay Reports and weekly Workers' Compensation reports
  • Work with vendors to resolve escalated issues for our employees
  • Assure integrity of Health & Welfare and Retirement elections data in the benefit administration system
  • Provide backup support to Benefit Specialist and Benefits Manager
This is a direct hire position located in Duluth, however, mid 2025, we will be moving to the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area. After 90 days, you can telecommute one day a week. Excellent benefits, including a 401k match, stock awards, flex time, paid training, etc.REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 1+ years of Leave Administration experience
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Consultative personality
  • Very high sense of analytical and problem-solving
  • High sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment (ability to adapt to change quickly)
  • Ability to pass a complete background check and drug test (excluding marijuana)
PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or human resources
