Digital signage market is mainly consist on H/W(LCD/LED Signage) and software(CMS, Contents management System). Samsung has been market share no.1 in digital signage H/W market over a decade and trying to improve the H/W sales capacity and inventory in the field by providing additional solution and SVC. DaaS(display as a service) is the business goal to achieve this vision which is software centric subscription business model that is performing on Samsung’s proprietary open platform(Called VX platform)Job Purpose
As a B2B Solution sales manager, the candidate is responsible for S/W solution sales. This role works very closely with VX(Visual Experience) team in HQ, Korea to develop sales plan and supports subsidiary’s channel sales and Key account managers to increase sales attach rate to H/W focused offering
Primary responsibilities will include helping to define key partnerships, developing strategies for how to enter new markets, creating new ways to reach existing customers and markets, bringing new products or offerings to initial customers (farming the market), and building up the right partner ecosystem.
  • You will be responsible for planning VX Solution sales strategy implementing it to achieve the company target
  • Build a Strategic Partnership with various types of partners
  • New Business Development to expand market with various initiatives for new customers and partners
  • Building VX partner ecosystem by recruiting right development partners as customer and market potentials.
Role and ResponsibilitiesYour Key Responsibilities:Demand creation and bring together:Develop new sales pursuits through existing account teams/pursuits and or through direct engagements with the clientSupport defined strategy to implement pursuitSupport competitive win strategyEnsure appropriate engagement with client’s decision/partner mapLeading and supporting pursuits with VX partners:Develop financial/commercial business plans/casesCraft and develop solution design for specific VX vertical servicesSupervise pursuit through risk management and identify areas of opportunity to ensure pursuit is kept on trackBuild a Resource plan the pursuit and gain senior VX executive sponsorshipPlan and deliver pursuit through building partner as well as client sponsorshipProvide support for large/strategically important deal opportunities (e.g. formulating Sales presentations and proposals to deliver customers)Support successful conclusion of the pursuit including contract negotiationsBuilding relationships to improve opportunities:Liaise and work with partners to deliver profitable solutions with VX business planLiaise with other VX functions, or agents of third parties, as appropriate to meet internal or external customer requirementsBuild trust, engage and develop channel relationshipsHave the ability to move through an organisation and become a trusted adviser at various levelsEnsure all deals are logged on VXEngaging clients through thought leadership:Ability to articulate a strategy that links to client’s drivers/needs and to drive effectiveness/efficiencies in their business processesGenerate innovative ideas, challenge current thinking and achieve consensus from the partners when developing the solution designSupport Service Development with market knowledge to continually develop the service offering.Ability to understand/articulate enterprise-wide document outsourcing solutionAbility to highlight and/or create new opportunities for partnersSkills and QualificationsWhat we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Proven experience working in a sales environment in the marketing industryExperience in Digital Out of Home advertising (DOOH) (preferred)A proven track record of successfully handling external partnerships and driving business opportunitiesProven track record in consultative selling in B2B IndustryExperience in constructing contracts resulting from complex business developmentExperience responding to formal RFIs & RFPs for large brand businessesExperience developing effective tactical strategies to support sales acquisitionExperience selling or business development of as a service business(e.g SaaS)Ability to get along with and influence multiple sales channelsAbility to handle and supervise lead generation and a sales pipeline through business development toolsPassionate about performance success caseStrong presenter, negotiator, and influencerExcellent written skillsOrganised with good attention to detailAble to work as part of wide and varied teamAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & ExcelBenefits of working here at Samsung include:Hybrid working (3 days office & 2 days at home)Bonus SchemePension contribution3 x volunteering days each yearHoliday - 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthday!Access to staff sales discounts on a wide range of Samsung productsAccess to discount shopping portalWe are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our Company.
