Location: Islwyn High School, OakdaleWe pay an attractive salary of £12 Per Hour Real Living Wage and offer access to training and development opportunities.Are you looking for work in a kitchen within a school environment?Are you caring, punctual and reliable? Enjoy preparing and serving food?The successful candidates will be working under the supervision of the Cook in Charge ensuring the lunch time service operates well. You will comply with our policies and ensure that food safety regulations are adhered to. You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with parents, pupils and the school successfully.For the role, we ask that you have:
  • Level 2 Food Safety Or ability to undertake and achieve the qualification within 3 months of appointment.
  • Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to work at various sites throughout CCBC, to meet the needs of the service. Willingness to complete all relevant training.
