We are looking for an experienced and motivated Communications Officer to join the Marketing and Communications team.Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Lead you will be joining Juniper at an exciting time as we implement our brand refresh and celebrate our 75-year history with the WA community.In this role you will be required to create engaging content that can be shared to both internal and external stakeholders that aligns to brand. This content will be shared across a wide range of channels including, digital, print and video. You will also create communications for Juniper’s many projects and announcements. This is a varied role suited to a person that enjoys storytelling and writing in many formats and styles. We are looking for a person that share in our values and can build strong relationships with the Juniper community which includes our staff, volunteers, customers and family members.You will be joining a creative and dynamic marketing and communications team responsible for the Juniper Brand. Skills, knowledge and experience required:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or relevant experience
  • Experience working with the media and understanding of the media cycle.
  • Understanding of the aged care sector or not-for-profit organisations
  • Working within brand book and tone guides with the ability to create content that aligns with messaging
  • Previous experience in services marketing and communications
  • Managing social media sites and using a content management system
  • Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to research, write, proof-read and edit a diverse range of materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated time management skills and a high level of organisational ability
  • Experience creating video content such as short reels for social media
  • Experience taking photos for digital
