We match our Care Professionals to our Clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and this enables us to provide personalised support.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Care Manager is responsible for ensuring the Clients receive Outstanding care and for supporting the growth of the Business. To work alongside the Care Manager. To provide guidance and support to others at all times.The RoleSupporting the Care Manager with day-to-day management of Client care and the teamIdentifying training needs / follow ups in respect of auditing activity. Making sure actions given to others are completed effectively.Completion of the Service Reviews and Quality Assurance, identifying ways to grow the Business.Helping with Client Acquisition and initial Client set up.Developing good working relationshipsOnboarding Clients and being responsible for Clients with complex care needs.Provide quality introductions of Care Professionals to Clients, guiding others on best practice.Support with medication, moving and handling, support visits with Care Professionals.Provide care for Clients as requiredBeing part of the On-Call RotaHave a thorough understanding of and belief in the Home Instead business modelMaintain and uphold company standards and ethosEnsure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.Being a face of the business and increasing potential business growth through networking.QualificationsPerson SpecificationPositive role model, Warm, friendly, cheerful personality who enjoys speaking to people.Team leader / supervisor/ manager experience (minimum 3 years). Enjoys team working.Ability to write Care Plans to a high standard.Excellent commercial Business Awareness.Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to cope with a fast-changing environment. Self-driven and committed to completing tasks.Smart, professional appearanceCan do / Will do attitude.Additional InformationEssentials:Reliable resilient individual, who can demonstrate both confidence and competence in the social care arena.Must have clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).Driving licence and use of a car on a daily basisMust be confident to use a variety of technology.Must understand the importance of confidentiality and working within current legislation.The Assistant Care Manager works 5 out of 7 days on a rota system which will include alternate weekend work.We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.
