- Review manufacturing operations to Identify and document all production process steps creating the process flow
- Generate standard work methods and process instructions and suggest improvements where necessary
- Audit, monitor and maintain process instructions
- Support PFMEA activities
- Generate and communicate control plans
- Maintain statistical data to departmental KPI's and produce reports where required
- Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities
- Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training
- Identify and provide input into manufacturing jigs and fixtures
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety protocols
- Implement 5S initiatives.
- Experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Manufacturing/Process/Production Engineer within a fast paced, forward-thinking business
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers
- Ability to manage one's own time and prioritise workload accordingly across multiple projects
- Be an effective team member, working with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output
- Experienced in generating standard work instructions, man assignments and process flows
- A high-level of IT literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to identify risks, use problem-solving techniques, develop, and safely implement new processes within a production and manufacturing environment.
- Experience with BOM's and Change Management processes.
- Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload.
- Experience of automotive product quality assurance systems (IATF16949, ISO9001, 5S, TPM, KPI's)
- Understand lean manufacturing and 5S principles
- Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
- Experience of using Carbon Fibre and Fabrication assemblies
