The Partner-owned financial service group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.PWM is seeking to recruit a Credit Structurer for its Wealth Solutions unit. As a member of Credit Structuring team, your mission will be to support the Relationship Managers from our European Bank, regarding Pictet's credit capabilities and service to Wealth Management clients. In this role, you will help RMs design appropriate credit structure for clients, prepare and present such credit requests for approval to the competent Credit Committees.Your roleYou will be responsible for :
  • Act as the credit specialist to structure and facilitate complex lending solutions
  • Underwrite and execute both loan and derivative structures, perform high quality analysis, due diligence and credit presentations;
  • Prepare and present such credit requests to the Business Credit Committee;
  • Assess risk of complex credit structures;
  • Monitoring of the credit conditions;
  • Educate and train Relationship Managers on Pictet' s Credit Policy, procedures and directives;
  • In close collaboration with RM's and Management, provide expertise and guidance on the Bank's Credit policies;
  • Present Pictet' s credit capabilities and services to clients, as needed;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for new and existing clients;
Your profile
  • At least 7-10 years' prior working experience in the field of secured credit activities for wealth management clients.
  • Strong aptitude in solution-driven approaches.
  • Familiar with legal, compliance, tax and cross-border parameters and environments.
  • Knowledge of investment products, particularly in derivatives & corporate analysis.
  • Knowledge of Avaloq a plus.
  • Previous experiences in private banking an asset.
  • Fluent in French and English; proficiency in other languages a plus. - Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • As the chosen applicant you will have excellent analytical/logical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as being methodical, precise and highly organized in your work. You will also possess first-rate interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be a strong player.
