As a Mumbai-based staffing services provider, SINCLUS specializes in meeting staffing requirements for various industries, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Infrastructure, Airports, Fertilizer, and EPC. The Safety Officer/Supervisor role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and creating a safe work environment for employees. Qualifications And Skills Proven work experience as a Safety Officer/Supervisor in a similar industry In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices Strong understanding of hazardous materials and safety procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to conduct training sessions and deliver presentations Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Certification in Occupational Health and Safety would be an advantage Proficient in using safety management software and tools Roles And Responsibilities Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports Coordinate safety training programs for employees and provide guidance on safe work practices Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, codes, and standards Collaborate with management and employees to develop a strong safety culture Maintain records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
