
Manager - Legal Project Management

- Developing and enhancing both LPM’s analytics and reporting governance
- Ensuring the LPM team delivers a quality professional product within the established timeframe, and coordinating within the LPM team to ensure consistent procedures are followed that maximize accuracy and efficiency for both routine requests and longer-term projects
- Coaching the LPM analysts and leading them in their career development
- Fostering a collaborative team environment that is focused on building relationships with the attorneys, within the Global Finance Department, and with other professional support teams across the firm
- Spearheading the development and rollout of self-service analytics that enhance client and matter management for attorneys and across the firm
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills needed for all primary duties of the position, including comprehending and communicating data, ideas, and processes
- Possess advanced skills in automated reporting, business intelligence, and relational databases
- Display advanced and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent, preferably in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, statistics, or another related field
- A graduate degree in a related field, preferably
- A minimum of seven (7) years of analytical experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience leading projects and other initiatives
- Relevant experience in finance or related professional services environment, preferably
- A minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience
- Previous experience in a customer-focused position, preferably
