We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee all aspects of quality management within our organization. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing effective QA/QC strategies.Responsibilities: * Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive quality management system in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to QA/QC team members, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure incoming materials and components meet quality specifications.
  • Manage the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality management.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and/or quality control roles, must have food manufacturing experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or similar standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
