The Role
The Business Operations Manager is a dedicated specialist providing support and advice to the Director, Defence Mobility and the wider directorate with regards to its day to day financial, contract and business activities. The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the directorate meets their financial responsibilities in line with relevant authorities and budget commitments.Some of the other key responsibilities:
  • Managing the Directorate's budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilisation of Commonwealth funds; and
  • Coordinating financial submissions to Service Management Branch – Business Management Office.
This includes:
  • Creation of financial submission forms, archiving of financial submissions and related documents to support submission.
