Responsibilities include:
- Obtain and document specifics regarding project sites from site selection and transaction managers.
- Provide coordination of all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type – including but not limited to internal composite coordination, existing as-built verification and site visits, traffic control, design parameters, and Amazon requirements/standards.
- Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals.
- Review, develop and provide supporting documents for lease execution, such as; site plans, work letters, schedules, phasing plans, GMP budget, etc.
- Understand zoning, planning department, fire code and building code interpretations.
- Manage the preliminary construction schedule and identify areas for acceleration.
- Develop initial construction sequencing for phasing and early access.
- Prepare construction cost estimates for business planning and capital approval requests.
- Manage due diligence for utility and other coordination efforts.
- Provide documentation for construction hand-off such as drawings, permit status, lease language & exhibits, schedules, budgets and additional work product completed by Preconstruction.
- Communicate effectively with Amazon managers and stakeholders.
- Lead special initiatives for the business aligned with Amazon’s long-term goals.
- Maintain repository for all Preconstruction work by site.
- Ability to travel throughout APAC approximately 40% of the time.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Virtual Location - AUSBASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Completed Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or comparable field
- Strong design, construction management and/or facilities management experience
- Project Management experience from design phase through construction and operation
- Experience negotiating construction, procurement and labor contracts
- Ability to travelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master’s degree in AEC field, Project Management, Business or equivalent
- Experience leading and managing a team, including, coaching and disciplinary actions, as needed
- Ability to effectively communicate client requirements to various audiences (e.g. senior management, peers, public officials, vendors, etc.)Acknowledgement of country:
