  • School Health: includes primary schools, high schools, Education Support units and enuresis support.
  • Child Health: providing services to families and children including newborn home visits, developmental checks from birth to 3 years, and breastfeeding support.
  • Immunisation: delivery of the immunisation schedule from birth to 4 years or with a school-based immunisation team.
  • Aboriginal Health Team: work with a multidisciplinary team providing primary health to Aboriginal children and their families.
About the Directorate: Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.   • Give an example that demonstrates your clinical knowledge and experience in the practice setting/specialty within the past two (2) years. (Related to Essential Criteria 2 & 4)
  • Give an example of how you include the CAHS values of Respect and Collaboration in your current clinical practice. (Related to Essential Criteria 5)
  • Describe how you would use your communication and interpersonal skills to resolve a conflict resolution situation with a client or carer? (Related to Essential Criteria 6)
  • A current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone & email contact details of 2 professional referees, with at least 1 being a recent supervisor/line manager.
  • If you possess an Immunisation or a Child Health Certificate, please attach evidence when asked within the application system.
