Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential.Job DescriptionThe L2 application support analysts/engineers have ownership to resolve incidents/issues in productive environment, monitoring to ensure application availability, stability, They coordinate and work with other DevTech support units (e.g. L3 teams) in order to resolve Incidents and Problems that affect the Client services.Your key tasks
- Hold Accountability and End to End ownership of any product related problems which clients report via the respective ticketing systems.
- Banking functional knowledge and experience is a must specially in the wealth management area of Investment related transactions (OTC , Stex , Fx etc) and this is required to resolve business transactions related issues from our wealth clients.
- To be able to handle EOD batches which are running post COB hours and to be on standby as well until the batch deliverables are fully transferred to the respective downstream of the Wealth Clients or Financial Institutions .
- Able to work in different shifts (night on-call, day shift and adhoc weekend support).
- Apart from Incidents , to be able to handle Service requests , RFIs as well as assist Problem Manager whenever product specific support is required .
- Degree/Diploma with 5 years' experience in Banking /financial sector/any relevant domains is a must.
- Knowledge of Avaloq (smart client) Front Platform
- Proficient in SQL, able to read and translate code into business language as well as from requirements to complex Select Queries or Scripts also required.
- Experience in handling Production batch using tools like Control-M, Autosys, Zena, Argo (currently being used)
- Windows/Unix/Linux experience to handle BAU activities like file transfers, troubleshooting.
- experience in any cloud technology-based Production support (AWS , OCI , Google)
- Working experience and knowledge in digital platforms (web and mobile banking) will be added advantage.
- must be very fluent in English and a clear demonstration of strong communication skills and this is required to manage internal and external stake holders.
- ITIL Incident, Problem and Change process knowledge and able to handle industry standard ticketing tools.
- ITIL V4
- Any other business function knowledge and experience (Portfolio Management , Credit and Cash related transactions)
- Any Automation /Scripting as well as Cloud Technologies (AWS ) .
- Detailed knowledge and skills of Avaloq Core Platform with certification
