- Develop a solid, trusting and mutually beneficial relationship between the client and WEX.
- Daily interactions with customers
- Develop a complete understanding of the customer’s needs across their organisation
- Respond in a timely manner to all of the client’s operational needs to provide outstanding customers service
- Manage communications between the client and internal teams
- Regular meetings face to face with customers
- Analyse client data to improve service to the client
- Meeting all agreed upon client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
- Looking for account growth opportunities
- Previous experience in relationship management or account management, preferably within the payments or financial services industry
- Fluency in English and one other European language is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region
- Understanding or willingness to understand API
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence within client organisations
- Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the client and their operational needs and challenges
- Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions and customer service
- Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
- Goal-oriented, organised team player
- Self-motivated and self- directed
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry, with a focus on corporate payments and solutions, preferably in the travel industry
