- Management of proactive and reactive engagement with key stakeholders and senior colleagues at both regional and national levels. Bringing external insight to help inform improvements in decision-making processes to enhance the company's external reputation
- Identifying any opportunities to engage or reputational risks and ensuring internal plans are updated through constant monitoring of external policy environments/political landscape. Addressing and raising any issues or concerns to senior colleagues internally
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to enable them to manage engagement with varying levels of stakeholders including groups, councils and associations.
- Demonstrable expertise in relationship management to work with colleagues across the business and external stakeholders with the ability to influence and persuade
- Experience developing strategic engagement plans for key stakeholders in line with company strategy
- Proven track record on high-profile issues with senior colleagues, with the ability to engage with colleagues across the business and influence senior management in delivering directorates.
