Share this job General Information Business Information The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Mission Statement Support a department providing financial services to a Business. Lead & support the existing team and the teams to implement Country Management Strategy and plan to ensure the business meeting the group and country Rules and regulations. Your Responsibilities Business Analysis & Financial reporting Month end Monthly book closing activities. Perform analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast. Invoicing to the stake holders & follow-up on Collection. Work with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Regions / Countries and functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepare ad-hoc reports as per Business units' request! Support preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Validate accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions Information and communication Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, presentation of findings and Internal & External Audit Co-ordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Thorough / detail-oriented approach Strong communication skills. Fluent in English Hands on experience in SAP FICO /S4 Hana Basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP Experience with MS Office. Excellent working knowledge in Excel - with Macros understanding. Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality.
