- Establish and follow-up on productivity and standardisation programmes for Packaged Gases Equipment across Air Products Europe, such that a consistent, safe and low cost approach is maintained. Included in this is liaison with vendors, Procurement and Continuous improvement
- Be a contact person with equipment vendors
- Analyse Customer Complaints and Incidents fully, concluding with a detailed report.
- Provide support to local Packaged Gases operational teams across Europe relating to pressure equipment, especially cylinders, cylinder packs, cylinder pallets, valves, hoses, filling adaptors and guards.
- Investigate and resolve issues for Packaged Gases business including participation and facilitation in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as required.
- Provide training support to Packaged Gases personnel relating to high pressure equipment and on site for high pressure related issues.
- Take part in new equipment evaluation and development activities, including auditing actual and potential suppliers.
- A degree in Material Science Engineering/ Chemical / Mechanical Engineering. Experiences with High Pressure Equipment is a plus.
- Good technical knowledge (cylinder valves, high pressure hoses, filling connectors, guards, and caps), technical sector gases preferred.
- Familiarity with IT and PC applications and competency in using them.
- Strong interpersonal and partnership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively throughout at all levels.
- Proficient in English, other local language is plus and open for travelling across EU (up to 20% ) will be required.
