- Incorporate a range of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Religious Education curriculum.
- Foster strong relationships with students and the wider community, promoting positive attitudes towards religious diversity and cultural understanding.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and examination boards.
- Passion for religious education and a deep understanding of various religious traditions and their impact on society.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver them effectively, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to promoting the school's ethos and values, fostering an environment of tolerance, respect, and understanding.
