Job: Religious Education TeacherTeaching Personnel is delighted to partner with an outstanding school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team. We are looking for an experienced professional who is enthusiastic about inspiring students to explore the rich tapestry of religious beliefs, ethics, and values.Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, catering to the needs of students across different age groups and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, open-mindedness, and respect for different religious traditions.
  • Incorporate a range of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Religious Education curriculum.
  • Foster strong relationships with students and the wider community, promoting positive attitudes towards religious diversity and cultural understanding.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and examination boards.
  • Passion for religious education and a deep understanding of various religious traditions and their impact on society.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver them effectively, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to promoting the school's ethos and values, fostering an environment of tolerance, respect, and understanding.
