We are looking to hire a Procurement Officer who will be to managing the procurement process efficiently and effectively to ensure the organization obtains the goods and services and gains the best value with correct timing, also contributing in inventory & stock management for Foodics inventory items.What Will You Doâť“
- Sourcing: Identify potential suppliers and vendors through research and market analysis. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Negotiations: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements. This includes price negotiation, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Purchase order management: Create and manage purchase orders (POs) accurately. Ensure all purchase orders are complete, approved, and properly documented.
- Procure to pay : manage different purchases “RFP, RFQ, RFI” cycles.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Implement inventory control standards to optimize stock levels.
- Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to procurement, ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and internal policies.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all procurement transactions, including contracts, invoices, and communication with suppliers.
- Education: bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is often required.
- Experience: 2-3 years’ experience.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication is vital for working with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments within the organization.
- Computer Skills : ERP & Office Proficiency in using procurement software “ERP – Oracle NetSuite is recommended”, Excel & word.
- CSCP- Certified Supply Chain Professional.
- CISCM- Certified International Supply Chain Manager.
