As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families during challenging times, ensuring that vulnerable people are safeguarded from harm and receiving the support they need.Responsibilities:Provide support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, advocating for their needs and rights.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess and address safeguarding concerns.
Conduct s42 enquiries in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate interventions and support services.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development activities.Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration (HCPC).
Experience working within a safeguarding or child protection setting.
Proficiency in conducting s42 enquiries and completing associated paperwork.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency framework.
Commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of vulnerable individuals and families.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
