Responsibilities / TasksFinancial control & reporting:
  • Oversee PO, invoice, and project approvals.
  • Control, review and approve all IC invoicing.
  • Manage bank and liquidity reporting, as well as APR, and PWA reporting.
  • Participate in biweekly cash collection and weekly recovery reviews.
  • Conduct weekly cash forecasting and submit reports.
  • Handle all forecasting and budgets (BUD, FC1, FC2, FC3)
  • Perform over/under absorption calculations.
  • Maintain ultimate ownership of all balance sheet accounts, ensuring thorough reviews and reconciliations.
Compliance & Auditing:
  • Organise and manage statutory accounts and external audits.
  • Take ownership of VAT reviews.
  • Review reporting and management accounting.
  • Serve as the compliance manager on site, handling all compliance related issues.
  • Review and manage GGH tax affairs for the UK group, including QIPS payments and group relief invoicing.
  • Manage and maintain Companies House records.
Strategic Management:
  • Attend UK finance quarterly meetings.
  • Review and approval of TIS, ATAQ and Dankse.
  • Fulfill role of pension trustee.
Team & Resource Management:
  • Manage the finance team, including one-on-one support and team development.
  • Oversee data protection as the site head, providing training and communications.
  • Manage ONS questionnaires and support additional surveys.
Risk Management & Insurance:
  • Handle authorizations for operational investments and discussions.
  • Act as the RAAC secretary and handle RIMIKS approvals.
  • Manage site insurance through a broker.
Ad Hoc duties:
  • Conduct R&D reviews with team members.
System & Process Management:
  • Address all SAP related issues
  • Prepare and review 5mRFC
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • University, master’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, ideally with focus on finance / accounting / controlling
  • At least 5-7 years of extensive experience within operational finance (e.g. application and design of shared services, finance transformation, financial systems optimization, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in accounting or controlling
  • Deep understanding of all systems that interact across the spectrum of Finance.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, development and availability of new technologies and tools
  • Strong financial modeling skills as well as business and data analysis skills
  • Experience in Project Management and PoC Accounting
  • Understanding of other than just financial matters
  • Achievements in managing legal and statutory requirement
  • Frequent successful interaction with external authorities
  • Preferred: SAP knowledge
  • English (proficient)
