KS1 Teaching AssistantLocation: SpaldingJob Type: Full-Time hoursSalary: £85 - £95 Per dayJob Duties:
  • Supporting the KS1 teacher in delivering lessons and educational activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
  • Supervising students during class and break times
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Additional qualifications in childcare or education are desirable
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery setting
  • Experience supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of KS1 curriculum and teaching methods
  • Ability to effectively communicate with young children
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Working in a school environment with young children
