Bottomer Machine Operator - Mobeni, KZNFull job descriptionLeading manufacturing group are seeking an experienced Bottomer Machine Operator and Technician to work at their Mobeni plant in Durban, South Africa.KEY RESPONSIBILITES1. Set up complex jobs2. Waste to be within machine target3. Ensure that the machinery is operating to set standards and is operating at Optimal Performance level without compromising quality and safety standards.4. Machine maintenance and safety measures.5. Quality of bags as per AQL6. Implement the relevant procedures, strategies and use the proper equipment to promote regulatory requirements and activities for the protection of data, people, institutions, and property.7. Bags that are run:- Open mouth- Stepped end- Hinge and pipe- Both end label print- Small, ,medium and large sacks- Arcomat experience8. Ensure that the assembled products are conform to the specifications given.9. Check products for quality on the production line and remove defective items before and after packagingREQUIREMENTS1. Minimum Grade 122. 3 – 6 Years’ experience as Bottomer working on the Windmoller and/or Holscher machines essential (essential)3. Be able to fault find and run optimum speed4. Must be technically minded5. Read and write English6. Computer literate7. Good communication skills (verbal & written).8. Pro active9. Willing to work within the respective Shift system10. Willing and able to work overtime as and when required11. Ability to work independently and as a team.12.
