- Pipeline Development: Continuously improve and optimize the character art pipeline to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality output. Implement best practices and new techniques to elevate the team's performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with concept artists, animators, tech artists, and other team members to ensure seamless character integration into the game world. Foster a collaborative environment where ideas and feedback are welcomed and valued.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all character assets meet the established quality standards and specifications. Review and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistency and cohesion throughout the game.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in character art techniques and technology. Champion innovative approaches to character creation to elevate the visual impact of our games.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate the smooth execution of character art-related tasks and meet project milestones.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional character art and design skills across various styles and genres. Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to create memorable and believable characters.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. Knowledge of game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity is essential.
