Offer DescriptionConferențiar universitar, position 15The Department of Entrepreneurship and Management is one of the three departments of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (NUSTPB). The Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management (FEBEM) provides its students with actual chances to thrive in the labour market, particularly the entrepreneurial sector, by ensuring excellent education, engineering, and managerial training based on innovation and experience.Through the promoting of the entrepreneurial spirit, initiative and creativity, the development of necessary skills for a successful career, the prerequisites for the training of top professionals in the business field are achieved. Along the same line of thought, the department coordinates 4 bachelor programs, of which one is taught in English “Business Engineering and Management”, and another in German „Ingenieurwesen und Business Management”.As a response to the requirements of the labor market and according to the trends in the international academic and business environment, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management diversified its master programs by providing 6 new programs, of which two are taught in English „Management of the Digital Enterprises “, and „Business Engineering and Entrepreneurship “. The other master programs cover “Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management”, “Human Resources Engineering in Industrial Organizations”, “The Quality of Industrial Products and Services” and “Management of Educational Organizations”.The department staff is outstanding through their competence and expertise in domains such as management, innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, communication, human resources management, the development of new products, leadership etc. The members of the department staff cooperate with the other departments in the faculty, both in research projects and in the didactic activity, especially for the implementation of scientific projects.A continuing preoccupation of the department members is with the improvement of curricula. The curricula comprise recent and very attractive subjects through their structure and their content which is mainly applicable, contributing substantially to academic excellence. The new curricula include subjects which are taught for the first time in the specialized higher education in Romania.The main research directions, materialized into papers published in prestigious international reviews, in which professors and PhD students are involved, are as follows: entrepreneurship, management, industrial engineering, marketing, human resources management. Most of the papers are published in Clarivate Analytics-indexed journals and in the proceedings of international conferences.Department of Entrepreneurship and Management announces a vacancy for Associate Professor. The study disciplines that are a part of the job description are: “Energy management”, “Efficient production systems” and “Control of industrial processes”.
