As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and improving the overall well-being of our clients. You will assess individual needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions to enhance functional abilities and facilitate engagement in meaningful activities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve clients functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
Provide education and training to clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and environmental modifications.
Monitor clients progress, reassess goals as needed, and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Previous experience working with adult populations in a clinical or community-based setting, preferably in adult care or rehabilitation.
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
Commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting clients autonomy and independence.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation (if applicable).Benefits:Competitive hourly rate of £47.63 per hour.
