The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a full range of administrative and secretarial related duties for the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. The candidate must be efficient, highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and team player that can successfully manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. The Administrative Assistant must have the skill to think through every aspect of a task from the beginning to the end. The Administrative Assistant must always maintain a high level of confidentiality.Prepares various correspondence, spreadsheets, charts, reports and presentations. As well as collation and distribution of documents when necessaryMaintains calendar, appointments, and schedules conferences for Superintendent Responsible for organizing, maintaining and updating a variety of files, records, and databases.Answers incoming phone calls, provides appropriate information or refers callers to appropriate staff.Provides general secretarial support with copying, distributing mail, faxing and ordering office supplies for the Superintendent's office.HS diploma or equivalent, associate degree (preferred) in office management or equivalent field. Strong typing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office business applications. Strong work ethic, highly professional demeanor, positive and friendly attitude. Discretion, reliability, loyalty, flexibility, and confidentiality are a must. Ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
