- Degree in in Electronic Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 3 -5 years General Electronics design experience.
- Proven hands-on electronics or embedded design experience.
- Proven experience using Schematic capture and PCB design software.
- Design of electronic circuits and miniaturisation of electronic solutions.
- Design of embedded systems including hardware and software.
- RF systems design and analysis.
- Experience working with Audio and Communication systems.
- Experience of product evaluation and selection against specified criteria.
- An understanding of PSU and Battery technologies.
- Recent demonstrable experience of working in an electronics development environment.
- Proven experience of liaising with external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Manufacture, production, or support of electronic systems across modern electronic disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Engineering management experience, during any part of the development lifecycle.
- Working as part of a project team, possessing autonomy to complete a task or leadership to guide the direction of a project.
- Problem solving aptitude, applying personal initiative when needed.
- Applying electronic principles and analysis of electronic circuits.
- Confident and proficient in hand soldering surface mount components and inspecting prototype circuits.
- Design of either FPGA systems or Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions.
- Mechanical design and 3D modelling techniques.
