- Monitor vessel performance using advanced analytics systems and software.
- Collect and analyze data related to fuel consumption, speed, engine performance, and other relevant parameters.
- Identify deviations from expected performance levels and investigate root causes.
- Collaborate with onboard crew and technical teams to address performance issues proactively.
- Develop strategies and initiatives to optimize vessel performance and fuel efficiency.
- Provide recommendations for operational changes, route optimization, and voyage planning.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or maintenance to enhance performance.
- Implement best practices and industry standards to ensure continuous improvement.
- Prepare regular performance reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate performance-related insights, trends, and recommendations to clients and vessel operators.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as weather routing and technical support, to provide integrated solutions to clients.
- Support client meetings and participate in performance review discussions.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and support on vessel performance matters.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries, addressing their concerns and providing solutions.
- Provide technical support on the software usage to new onboarding client
- Excellent command in Mandarin and English
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in vessel performance management, marine operations, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of vessel operations, including propulsion systems, fuel consumption, and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to drive performance improvements.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring systems, software, and tools used in the maritime industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to vessel performance and risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Occasional travel might be required
