- Perform stress analysis and calculations for aerospace components, systems, and structures using Nastran/Patran software
- Analyze and interpret stress results to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
- Conduct static and fatigue analyses to assess the structural integrity and durability of aerospace components
- Generate detailed analysis reports and technical documentation to document methodologies and conclusions.
- Meshing depending on Client Specifications (1D, 2D, 3D, mixed model, Skin Elements, Rigid Elements etc.)
- Creating Boundary Conditions and Loads (mostly in Nastran Input file)
- Creating various checks for the model
- Debugging (fatal errors and warnings in f06) and checking the coherence of the model
- Postprocessing using specific client options
- Participate in design reviews and other specific meetings #LI-FP1
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of aircraft structure and aircraft loads
- Experienced in the static calculations for sizing and stress analysis of the aircraft structures by means of hand calculations, valid methods, numerical simulations (FEM)
- Understand legacy stress reports
- Experience in numerical modeling, post-processing, extraction & reporting of the results
- Very well-versed in stress dossier writing
- Knowledge and experience on composite and sandwich structures (desirable) #LI-FP1
