Perform stress analysis and calculations for aerospace components, systems, and structures using Nastran/Patran software
Analyze and interpret stress results to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
Conduct static and fatigue analyses to assess the structural integrity and durability of aerospace components
Generate detailed analysis reports and technical documentation to document methodologies and conclusions.
Meshing depending on Client Specifications (1D, 2D, 3D, mixed model, Skin Elements, Rigid Elements etc.)
Creating Boundary Conditions and Loads (mostly in Nastran Input file)
Creating various checks for the model
Debugging (fatal errors and warnings in f06) and checking the coherence of the model
Postprocessing using specific client options
Participate in design reviews and other specific meetings #LI-FP1

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of aircraft structure and aircraft loads
Experienced in the static calculations for sizing and stress analysis of the aircraft structures by means of hand calculations, valid methods, numerical simulations (FEM)
Understand legacy stress reports
Experience in numerical modeling, post-processing, extraction & reporting of the results
Very well-versed in stress dossier writing
Knowledge and experience on composite and sandwich structures (desirable) #LI-FP1
