- Supporting the team in developing their technical and business skills through training and targeted assignments
- Maintaining close contact with the team with regular one-on-one and team meetings

- Act as the technical SME and gatekeeper for Power Curve Collections (PCC)
- Support day-to-day management of all operational areas of the Collection team including vendor management/monitoring.
- Partner and develop strategies with Risk to improve operations, forecast and monitor loss rates, etc., to achieve goals
- Drive material improvements in Collections & Recoveries performance by recommending new calling strategies, segmentations, collections strategies, etc.
- Continuously improve efficiency and drive material improvements in Collections and Recoveries
- Stay abreast of new technology and Collection best practices/strategies and ensure the business is constantly evolving to remain competitive
- Support the business with large projects and ensure they respect budget, scope, timelines and deliver the required benefits
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership/management position
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience in analytical roles, preferably in an analytical role within a financial institution. Knowledge of consumer lending industry, credit card and automobile financing will set the successful candidate apart.
- Undergraduate degree in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related analytical field of study or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- Experience working with very large databases, data mining and/or data warehousing.
- Experience in programming and experience in manipulating data using tools like SAS, SQL, R or Python
- Experience with Power BI or comparable data mart and visualization tools considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Dialer, interactive communication tools and call center analytics experiences are great assets
