- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with key customers.
- Travelling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Utilising outbound telephone calls, email communications and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
- Preparing concise sales reports to feed into Sales Director.
- Planning, researching, and executing potential sales opportunities in order to drive profitable market share growth for the business.
- Consistently delivers against set goals and targets.
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Sales Director
- Proven sales experience within engineering industry.
- Previous account management experience.
- Knowledge of industry and markets
- Strong track record in relationship building.
- Proactive approach to drive sales forward.
- Organised and planned approach to creating sales opportunities
- Ability to be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to take ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Driving licence as travel is required within your region
- Great problem solver and be able to work under pressure, providing solutions
