- Building and maintaining a good relationship with the assigned customers
- Sending monthly sales invoices and statements to customers
- Chasing overdue invoices
- Provide updates and information on the assigned customers
- Follow up on customer’s queries
- Perform customer accounts reconciliation
- Perform monthly cashouts from affiliate wallets
- Monitoring of debtors’ balances including clearing up of credit balances
- Maintaining an updated list of active accounts on the revenue report
- Report any slow-paying or non-paying customers to Account managers and Legal department if necessary
- Assisting in the monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Assisting in the monthly closing revenue adjustment reconciliation
- Posting of sales invoices
- Bank inflow transaction postings on Navision
- Assisting in the audit-related queries
- Provide training and be the go-to person for the newbies
- Updating the weekly receivables reports
- Calculate VAT return workings on a quarterly basis
- Submit VAT return on the CFR website
- Monitoring the unallocated payments on a weekly basis
- Assisting in the weekly team meetings
- Tracking the cash collection progress during the month
- Highlight focus areas in relation to aged receivables
- Initiate dialogue and highlight areas of improvement related to processes and procedures
- Assisting in the documentation of processes and procedures
- Assisting the manager in ensuring that the team spirit and motivation is maintained at a high level by assessing the team needs and initiating team dialogues on areas of improvement.
- Manage the team members reporting to you
- Qualified as an accountant or in the final stages of completing an accountancy qualification, obtained in Malta.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous accounting experience locally is required.
- Proven experience in credit control and debtors management is desirable
- Experience in team management
- Audit management experience is advantageous
- A strong analytical and data-driven approach is essential
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and proficient in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Excellent English communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business, both in writing and verbally
- Strong technical knowledge in IFRS is essential
- Knowledgeable Navision Dynamics Business Central will be an asset
