- Responsible for undertaking complex ad-hoc analysis using advanced SQL & SAS coding, providing conclusions and recommendations to support the Credit Risk team
- Responsible for planning and implementing strategy changes within the credit risk decision engine
- Responsible for UAT of changes made across the credit account lifecycle
- Responsible for documentation of changes and testing to satisfy controls
- Representing the Credit Risk team across cross-functional projects
- Responsible for the development of monitoring of strategy changes to understand customer and commercial outcomes. To include investigation of any deviation from expected results
- Develop key stakeholder relationships across the business to include DT, and Compliance.
- Highly analytical with strong technical skills
- Degree level educated, ideally in a numerate discipline
- Self-Motivated and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Accurate with a high attention to detail
- Logical thinker
- Ability to present technical changes in non-technical language
- SAS and/or SQL skills are essential
- Use of Microsoft excel, including lookups, pivots and charts
- Proven experience of configuring specialist Credit Risk decisioning systems
- Previous experience of making changes Provenir or GDS Link
- Previous experience of undertaking Credit Risk user acceptance testing
