Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.This position will encompass a variety of substation design and drafting tasks including site layouts, grading plans, general arrangements and sections, above and below-grade plans and detailed drawings and bills of materials, along with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams will be prepared by a designer for self-drafting or drafting by others.Minimum Requirements: College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design. A minimum of 2 years of concentrated computer-aided drafting experience or sufficient CADD knowledge supplemented by industrial, construction or construction management is required. 3D CADD experience (Micro Station or AutoCAD) is beneficial. Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; proven excellent level of interpersonal skills; ability to work individually and on a team. Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills. Proven ability to work with confidential information. Proven ability to exercise independent judgment.
