  • Performs daily pre-operational inspection on equipment and areas as needed.
  • Performs daily operational sanitation (SSOP) and GMP inspections during operations.
  • Conduct a Box Audit minimum 2 box daily and Piece Counts one time per line as per standard operating procedure.
  • Communicate deviations/defects in a timely manner to QA and Production Supervisor.
  • Collect and Clear Tally Sheets daily
  • Completes Data Entry of tests generated by QA department and other Production related observations.
  • Performs visual inspections of raw materials daily.
  • Collect a Raw Material Sampling as needed it.
  • Sample Check-In Logs in samples for microbiological and chemical testing.(SARFS)
  • Collect and complete data entry for Mac Samples and fat claims as needed.
  • Record-Keeping results for Product temperatures daily.
  • Collects samples and performs process control testing as needed.(e.g. Chlorine test)
  • Record-Keeping and daily paperwork relating to test descriptions, results, physical measurements, etc.
  • Collect and Prepares samples for Sensory analysis of finished product.
  • Assists in data collection and preparation of special product tests as needed.
  • Completes Sensory and Physical measurements on finished product.
  • Performs one AQL inspection daily or as needed
  • Performs daily/weekly and Record-Keeping QA Audits/ Observations.
  • Performs Plastic Checks 3 times per day.
  • Assist in tag pallets/sign off on rescreen/inedible pallets as needed.
  • Performs Salt testing as needed.
  • Prepare, verify and received toolboxes daily
  • Verify and Document code date check daily.
  • Inspect green bins as needed.
  • Verify samples information at end of the night.
  • Assist in tag End of the night Rework
  • Perform and Verify lock computers, QA closet, QA racks are locked.
  • Clean Freezers/Fridge once per week.
  • Remove garbage/clean up spills.
  • Clean and Sanitize QA equipment and utensils.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Keep work area clean
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Be aware and practice GMPs
  • Personal Protective equipment Provided (boots, frocks, bump caps, earplugs)
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
  • 1+ to 2 Years
