Education:

Essential: Advanced university degree in public health, business administration, Management, communications, international relations or a related field;Desirable: Master's in Public Health.

Experience:

Essential: Minimum of (7) years' experience executing public health initiatives and developing proposals for such work; Experience in WHO or other UN organizations would be an asset;Desirable: Good knowledge of the structure and functions of the AUC, ECA and RECs. Understanding WHO's mandate and goals as related to the African setting. Knowledge of WHO administrative and financial rules, procedures and practices would be an advantage

Skills: Excellent analytical and writing skills: Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
