What the role is:You will join a team whose primarily role is to partner our key stakeholders in safeguarding the appropriate use of national patient financing schemes - MediShield Life, MediSave, CareShield Life/ ElderShield, Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) and HealthierSG by driving strategies to ensure governance and compliance to established policies and processes. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will be exposed to a breadth of responsibilities intended to improve governance and oversight over our healthcare financing schemes. These include, but are not limited to: • Development and review of audit and governance policies to support claims from healthcare financing schemes • Planning of audits and governance operations to ensure smooth and accurate submission of healthcare claims • Development and maintenance of systems to support audit and accreditation of medical institutions and medical practitioners for the MediSave and MediShield Life schemesWhat we are looking for:
  • Good tertiary education. Background in economics, audit or finance will be an advantage • Prior experience in healthcare sector, insurance sector, or audit sector is an advantage • Prior experience in design of business processes and user experience is an advantage • Strong critical thinking abilities • Good quantitative skills, with knowledge of Excel • Good writing and communication skills • A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills and initiative. • Motivated and persevering, able to work independently and see through projects to completion. • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. • Able to foster good working relationships with working partners; open-minded and receptive to views and feedback of administrators, medical professionals, policy makers and operational personnel. • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity and credibility. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
