Account Manager

• Our client delivers solutions to Hospitals and the residential care market where they are partnering with Facilities, offering a suite of services and selling a solution

• Highly regarded in the market, this employer is a global market leader offering products and solutions essential within the healthcare sector; the products used in NZ provide quality care to patients who have challenges with health and mobility issues

• Based at the Wellington office, this is an exciting opportunity for you to take on the role of Account Manager reporting to the National Sales Manager (also Wellington based)
• The territory is lower North Island (not South) and Wellington
• Only one night away a month with face to face visits to Hospitals (across all areas eg Theatre to Wards) & private sector clients in the Care sector (Nursing Homes etc)

• Manage the sales process visiting a wide range of clients in the clinical/care setting
• Achieve and exceed sales budgets and targets
• Maintain and grow capital, consumable, rental and aftermarket revenues
• Manage account/customer relationships
• Develop and implement business plan for territory
• Business development - identify new market opportunities, drive growth and direct sales and marketing initiatives
• Sell preferred supplier agreements/contracts - RFP assistance
• Provide clinical support to customers ie practical training
• Insight Assessments, technical support/direction & company promotion
• Reporting, participation in training, use of Salesforce
• Internal company collaboration with teams and management, attendance at AUS/NZ joint annual Sales Conference
• Health & Safety, and Quality Management

• Will have Account Management experience OR be a a former Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist keen to expand into sales
• Will have medical product knowledge within a Clinical environment
• Be comfortable using technology
• Negotiation skills
• A savvy, professional candidate with a high level of business acumen
