Nicholas Associates are partnered with a well-known residential groundworks & civil engineering company based in the South West who are looking to strengthen their engineering department by recruiting an additional Site Engineer. Working across multiple sites around the Wiltshire area you will be responsible for the following:Setting out for all elements of groundworks; 278 works, roads, kerbs, foundations, drainage etc.Liaise with workforce and contractors regarding setting out informationAssist and prepare sketches for distribution and ensuring all teams understand the plansPreparation of as-builtsAll relevant Q&A with the projectCommunicate well with all teams to ensure technical problems are overcome and queries answeredManage other Site EngineersSkills and experience required:HNC or Degree in Civil engineering or Construction preferred but not requiredMust have a minimum 3 - 5 years experience setting out on residential groundworks projects.Experience in managing Junior/Assistant Site EngineersBe proficient with GPS and Total StationBe proficient with a range of design software including AutoCAD Or Civil 3D (preferred)Full Driving LicenceExperience using Robotic Total stationHave excellent communication skills both written & verbalA valid CSCS cardThis is an excellent opportunity join a growing business in the groundworks and civil engineering market, our client can offer a competitive salary and package, career progression and development.
