- Collaborating with team members to update project schedules and reports as needed, at least once a week.
- Developing checklists based on client and internal feedback and incorporating all comments into the project schedule. Sharing these checklists with the team to ensure everyone is aligned.
- Assisting the Project Manager in various project management tasks such as scheduling, reporting, managing interfaces, meeting deadlines, and addressing risks on a weekly basis to ensure projects stay on track with timelines and budgets.
- Analyzing project schedules for risks and dependencies, studying the Critical Path, and informing the team accordingly.
- Planning, analyzing, and managing project information in collaboration with project stakeholders throughout all project stages.
- Acting as a liaison between the Project Manager, Project senior engineers, and the project team to manage team requirements and meet client expectations.
- Generating and presenting regular schedules and reports as requested by the Project Manager, Project Teams, and Clients.
- Creating Tender Schedules for upcoming projects when necessary.
- Developing and managing programs and trackers for multiple projects from initiation to execution to enhance business values across different delivery dimensions.
- Estimating timescales, monitoring progress, reviewing schedule updates, and analyzing data to identify trends and potential issues, allowing the team to work on solutions regularly.
- Ensuring that all additional works (variations) are incorporated into the schedules while respecting deadlines.
- Loading project resources and tracking them accordingly, keeping all responsible resources informed of their deadlines.
- Coordinating our approach with the client's schedule if necessary to maintain alignment between both schedules.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on project progress.
- Supporting the production of monthly reports on key areas such as progress reports, critical path analysis, milestones, and P6 reports.
- Following the Programme planning procedures outlined in IE PMP-003 Project Scheduling Procedure.
- Monitoring the programme, tracking, recording, and predicting out-turn programme dates.
- Preparing a cost and resource-loaded programme that serves as the integrated project work plan. Updating Accruals and Prepayments schedules monthly.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering or construction field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience or demonstrated capability in developing and implementing project schedules/plans and effectively monitoring and controlling work programmes.
- Experience with railway-related projects is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 or equivalent Planning Software, as well as Microsoft Office tools. Excellent report writing skills are essential. Familiarity with Time Chainage programmes is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills are crucial to meet the demands of a busy schedule. Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with various design teams, both local and remote.
