Play a central role in overseeing and coordinating the daily procurement activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier generated Engineering Change Notices (ECN).This hybrid position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless implementation of changes throughout the project lifecycle.You will be based in Nagykanizsa or SzigetszentmiklósYour main tasks and key responsibilities will be:Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with sourcing project managers, category managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand procurement needs for NPI, and ECN processesCost and Timeline Management: Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities associated with NPI, project buying, and ECN implementation. Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain timelines that align with project schedules.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, project procurement, and changes introduced through the ECN process.Supplier Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing collaboration and responsiveness throughout projects and changes.Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, and ECN documentation.Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and services related to NPI, project procurement, and ECN implementation.Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, daily purchasers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to NPI, project buying, and ECN processes.Schedule Management: Develop and maintain schedules for procurement activities, taking into account the critical timelines associated with NPI, project buying, and ECN implementation.
