Our Carbon and Energy Reduction Department requires an Energy Efficiency Engineer to work with our growing list of clients that are eager to implement changes that are good for their business and the environment.You will get to review their energy use and their infrastructure to develop recommendations and solutions that drive energy efficiency and cost reduction. Our methods are based on measurement and verification, using data to drive our decisions.As an Energy Efficiency Engineer, you will have a range of on the job duties that will have you work with a diverse and interesting client base. Some of your deliverables will be to:
  • Conduct site visits to understand how our clients use their energy and identify improvement opportunities
  • Identify client motivation for energy efficiency activities
  • Gather and interpret energy data
  • Work with our sales team to best position energy efficiency solutions
  • Conduct sub system and whole site energy audits to Australian Standards
  • Assessment of projects for energy certificate eligibility
  • Collection of evidence to satisfy energy efficiency scheme requirements
  • Generating reports, proposals, and client communications
RequirementsWe want someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and is passionate about energy efficiency and knows that anything is possible. You will need to have confident and positive outlook and enjoy working in a diverse and inclusive environment.Experience and an academic background in any of the Engineering disciplines, or industrial processes, along with real knowledge of energy efficiency and emissions reduction will be ideal. Measurement and Verification certification and Audit training will be considered an advantage but is not essential.
