The position Mainframe Scheduling Support Engineer will be part of our Mainframe team in Bulgaria. We are seeking for motivated and ambitious people, willing to acquire new technical skills and gain experience in the IT field. The Mainframe Technology is serving many of Fortune top 1000 companies Worldwide since 1960s and this will be a great chance for you to become part of the history and the future of this technology. This job opportunity is suited for motivated young professionals with limited experience who are wishing to challenge themselves and step into the IT world. - Support of our customers Scheduling environment on their Mainframe infrastructure, working from Bulgaria.
- Responsible for scheduling, execution and control of all batch processes
- Maintain the batch scheduling databases and daily schedule plans
- Maintain scheduling tool calendars, scheduling periods and business specific dates, based on customer delivered requirements
- Work on complex incidents that can affect thousands of users.
- Plan, prepare and implement Changes or adhoc requests.
- University degree in Computer science, other related area and/or at least one year of equivalent work experience.
- High motivation and self-driven desire to build successful IT career.
- Interested in gaining knowledge in Mainframe technology especially in Batch/Scheduling of applications.
- Fluent English.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
- Willingness to be available for Stand By support during nights/weekends.
