- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
- Understand client goals, challenges, and requirements, and proactively identify opportunities for VMware solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their use of VMware products and services.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and technical specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain accurate account plans, including revenue forecasts and sales pipeline management.
- Regularly review account performance against targets and take proactive measures to address any deviations.
- Act as the voice of the customer within VMware by Broadcom, advocating for client needs and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns.
- Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities related to virtualization and cloud technologies.
- Use market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning of VMware solutions.
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Track record of sales success working with commercial, small & medium and/or enterprise organizations
- Experience with vendors associated with virtualization technology, cloud and SaaS is a plus
- Track record of accomplishment selling to the IT infrastructure specialists
- Proven ability to develop new sales with end-users
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly – highly coachable and open to learning
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
- Be comfortable traveling for at least 50% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the software or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, and related technologies (experience with VMware products is a plus).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
