This means using cutting edge technology to create highly scalable, customisable and secure products and components that free up development time and leverage our access to global data.What you’ll do ​& Who you areWe are seeking an experienced Collections Team Lead to join our Finance teams in our Paris office. As the Collections Team Lead, you will manage a team of collection specialists to ensure timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts. This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office), reporting directly to the Global Collections Manager.Job/Role Description :
  • Team lead on the day-to-day collections function
  • Leading on AR reporting including debtors aging, unapplied cash etc. activities
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly targets as assigned by management and prioritise the collection of debt within the AR ledger
  • Point of contact for all customer queries and resolve open cases with haste to enable timely reporting.
  • Perform internal investigation to support customer resolution of identified issues and propose solutions adapted to the client's economic situation.
  • Use experience to support management in decision making process surrounding aged collections from debtors
  • Point of contact with 3rd party debt collection support
  • Liaise with internal teams to understand if accounts should be suspended / reactivated
  • Calculate overdue interest in dunning letters, based on customer type
  • Prepare and pass non collectable debtors to litigation / third party team
  • Resolve disputes by working with internal teams and/or the customer to verify information
  • Continuously look for and create more efficient processes and implement improvements
Qualifications:
  • Fluent French and English is essential (C1)
  • Strong experience across the dunning process, and accounts receivable principles & concepts
  • Minimum 2 years experience acting as Team Lead, within a Large Finance organisation
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking
  • Working knowledge of SAP S4 order to cash and accounts receivable capabilities
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented with an ability to take ownership and multi-task
  • Proven success in collaborating with external clients as partners
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge & collaborate
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
  • Excellent Google suite & MS Office skills
  • Experience of lean methodology and continuous improvement is a plus
