Within the children with disability team, we have the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring, motivating and unique children around. You will never have two cases the same and will develop many new and different skills.The rewards for working within the children with disability is overwhelming and there are many heartwarming and funny stories along the way. You have the opportunity to really build relationships with your children and families along with a vast range of multi-agency professionals.The children we work with are also some of the most vulnerable in society, and you have the opportunity to put all your social work skills to good use in ensuring that their needs are recognised and advocated for along with any areas of risk are addressed.We work across Cheshire East and have the flexibility to be based within Delamere house or Macclesfield town hall. We prioritise flexibility, offering various work locations and hotdesking opportunities to facilitate collaboration with safeguarding teams and services and to ensure that we build strong connections.Relationships at the heart of what we do in Cheshire East and understand the importance of building relationships providing consistent support.
