We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager with the hunger to progress to Sales Director in a defined period. Based in Hampshire, you'll be joining a leading industry manufacturer and supplier of high-quality epoxy products. We need a leader, with a proven track record of networking and growing our key accounts, you'll be joining an established sales team that you can immediately grow!BASIC SALARY: £65,000 - £75,000BENEFITS:

In return, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a Director in title, and possibly take up a seat on our board.JOB DESCRIPTION: Head of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales Director - Manufacturer, chemicals, adhesivesWorking closely with the Directors, your role as Head of Sales will be to develop a sales strategy that builds on the current growth trajectory by developing our sales team. You'll be responsible for reviewing our existing processes and procedures to ensure we're maximising potential, with your key areas of focus being:
· Evaluating our existing CRM system, client split and overall sales processes, and leading any changes required.
· Increasing both our direct end user customer base and distributor activities
· Managing, coaching, and developing the existing Sales team.
· Achieving an overall sales target - you'll do this by leading by example and improving your staff. You'll want to be involved with the "doing" as well as the managing.
· Monitoring and managing a set of KPI's to ensure continuous development, this could be core sales principles or specific activities.Our route to market is quite targeted, our client base isn't subject to great deals of flux so maximising our existing relationships and really networking the maximum out of each customer and/or distributor is of vital importance.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Head of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales Director - Manufacturer, chemicals, adhesivesYou'll have a proven track record of people management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Ideally, you'll have worked with industrial or technical consumable products, although we'll consider a variation of backgrounds.What's most important to us is:
· You will be able to demonstrate and reference experience of developing a sales team.
· You'll have a very strong background in key account management through distribution and growth of direct end user business.
· You will have previously implemented a sales strategy and be able to talk to us about the results it generated.
